2. Semicolon usage
- To avoid confusion with numbers:

- Before explanatory words or abbreviations - namely: We are able to supply you with two different gauges of nylon stockings; namely, 45 and 51.
- To separate short Statements of contract:
War is destructive; peace is constructive.
3. Still
The word "still" is used as a transition word to show exception.
Ex: I tried again and still I failed.
