Drugstore experience
People enter a
drugstore with a certain mood. Some people are excited because they are almost
cured or their problems are not so serious. Some people look nervous or even
scared because they don’t like medical treatment (like me) or understand that
they future does not look too bright. Anyway, this is not the only category of
people who enter a drugstore. There are also some really excited people who buy
vitamins, condoms and etc. It does not matter who you are and why you came as all
of us feel this special drugstore smell and see white overalls. We buy aspirin
when we have a headache, Theraflu when we have a sore throat…

Starting off my day…
Starting
off my day…
Is it important always
to have a good mood? Don’t know but today my mood is definitely gloomy because
I have a headache. Why do I have a headache? Well, there are some reasons for
it. Can I share a secret even with myself? Sometimes it’s difficult to put into
words even your own thoughts because you don’t want to hurt yourself.
Anyway the mood is not
good today. How to improve it? Maybe to do some physical exercises? It helps
sometimes but not always, not today…I’m tired from the morning. No, not tired,
exhausted. OK, decided. I’m going to make some carrot juice. Yes, it’s the best
decision.
…I’m tired in the
evening. My eye lashes are so heavy. Good night everybody!
Do you know bittermelon?
Momordica charantia often called bitter melon, bitter
gourd or bitter squash in English, has many other local names. Goya from the indigenous
language of Okinawa and karavella
from Sanskrit are also used by English-language speakers.
As the fruit ripens,
the flesh (rind) becomes tougher, bitterer, and too distasteful to eat. On the
other hand, the pith becomes sweet and intensely red; it can be eaten uncooked
in this state, and is a popular ingredient in some Southeast Asian salads.
When the fruit is
fully ripe, it turns orange and mushy, and splits into segments which curl back
dramatically to expose seeds covered in bright red pulp.
Some parts of the
plant including arils (seed covering) are toxic, causing vomiting,
diarrhea, and even death in children.
