Investment ideas?

Good evening everyone!
What do you think about this statement? Feel free to comment below!
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

  1. The statement can be considered even literally with a clear sense. Main idea of this phrase is to reduce potential risk by sharing eggs in different baskets. The probability of breaking of all eggs in one basket (If the basket is dropped, all is lost) is higher than after distribution among different baskets. However, it can be used in a broader meaning as a recommendation to allocate resources diversely.

    1. Thank you very much for your answer! What do you think about another point as "to put all your eggs in one basket and watch them grow"?As the profit will be much bigger.

    2. Hmmm… Interesting! There are advantages and disadvantages of each statement. So, this statement is the other side of the coin. It can be interpreted as concentration and specialization on certain field or business. Basically, multitasking decreases productivity and efficiency. As Bruce Lee said “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times”. It means dedication makes perfect.
